About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised HR Administrator to join our team at Ballina RSL Club. This part-time role will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to our business, ensuring efficient and effective HR processes and compliance. The successful candidate will be based in our office in Ballina, NSW.

What you'll be doing

Administering employee records and documentation, including onboarding, leave management and terminations

Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Providing administrative support for recruitment and performance management processes

Maintaining HR information systems and databases

Designing and co-facilitating engaging workshops

Overseeing our risk and compliance platform

Answering employee enquiries and providing HR-related advice

Supporting the HR team with projects and other duties as required

What we're looking for

Strong experience in a generalist HR administrator or coordinator role

Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills

Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office suite

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
