THE EMPLOYER

Our client is a trusted partner to Defence, providing commercial and financial expertise across complex acquisition and sustainment programs.

An opportunity now exists for a Project Finance Officer to join a high-profile Navy project team, supporting the day-to-day financial operations within a critical Defence program.

THE ROLE

As a key finance resource, you’ll support project managers and delivery leads by managing invoicing, forecasting, financial reporting, and SAP transactions. You'll also liaise with Defence and external stakeholders to ensure accurate alignment with the Defence Project Accounting Manual and government finance processes.

REQUIREMENTS

NV1 Defence Security Clearance (MUST HAVE)

Experience in project accounting (ideally in a Defence context)

Understanding of government finance processes and systems

Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Power BI for reporting

Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related discipline

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to team success
