We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and support strategic decision-making at the highest level. This flexible, part-time role (2 days per week) is ideal for a finance professional who thrives on responsibility and is passionate about using their skills to make a meaningful impact.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Leadership Team and Accounts Clerk, the Finance Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic insights that guide organisational planning and performance. This is a hands-on role that also involves system and process improvement to enhance financial visibility and control.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the CEO on the management of day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making
Collaborate with the CEO and Leadership Team on financial strategy and planning
Oversee the work of the Accounts Clerk and support month-end and year-end processes
Develop and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures
About You:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CA preferred)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally in a not-for-profit or health services environment
Proficiency in Xero and financial systems integration (e.g., Salesforce to Xero)
Strong understanding of payroll systems, tax compliance (BAS, PAYG), and budgeting
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organisational skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams
