Position Summary

A manager of the division will have responsibility for effectively managing projects and staff in a rapidly growing team, working directly below the leadership team or a Senior Manager. Skillset requirements include critical thinking, planning, financial analysis and concise presentation of outputs. Managers also have a responsibility for regular client contact, staff training and liaising with other divisions of RSM and third parties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Advisory – end to end M&A and lead IPO execution (including target list and information memorandum preparation, data room management and stakeholder management)

Work across sell-side, buy-side, capital raising and strategic advice

Financial Modelling

Manage, train and lead team of juniors

Build and manage client relationships

Assist with deal origination

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major

Completed CA or equivalent

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

5-7 years’ experience in Professional Services or industry Corporate Development roles

Previous experience managing a team

Strong communication and report writing skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong analytical skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Ability to meet and work towards deadlines

Desirable

Business Development exposure
