We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Operations Coordinator – Crane and Projects to join our growing Hazelmere team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Supervisor and Transport Manager, the Operations Coordinator for our Crane and Project division will play a key role in the daily scheduling of crane asset and staff rosters, coordinating asset allocations, managing bookings, and maintaining compliance documentation. This position requires strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate wet hire rosters and daily driver or operator allocations
• Enter client job bookings into the fleet management system and assist with quoting
• Provide general administrative support to ensure seamless operational delivery
• Maintain internal registers and reporting systems (e.g. training, safety, contract progress)
• Liaise with head office HR to onboard new employees and manage start-up documentation
• Prepare and maintain mobilisation paperwork for personnel and assets on mine sites across WA
• Ensure all site-required documentation is completed and submitted on time
• Support compliance with WHS legislation, company policies, and safety objectives
• Build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Identify business development opportunities through quality customer service
• Support the Operations Manager and Supervisor with day-to-day tasks as needed
About You
• Minimum 2 years’ experience a similar role
• Previous exposure to cranes, transport, or logistics is highly desirable
• Strong multitasking and time management skills under pressure
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database systems
