We’re looking for a Financial Accountant who’s hungry to fast-track their commercial career. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact role and work one-on-one with a Big 4-trained CFO who’s led multiple PE-backed transformations.

You’ll be supported by a small transactional team in a broad, hands-on role across financial reporting, compliance, tax, budgeting & forecasting, and strategy. You won’t be stuck behind a spreadsheet, you’ll see the full picture, working closely with sales, marketing, product design, and distribution.

Most importantly, you’ll work side-by-side with an exceptional CFO, gaining one-on-one mentorship and exposure that would take years to get elsewhere. It’s the kind of crash course that will fast-track your learning and set your career on the right trajectory.

The role

Preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow including high level commentary

Month end processes including prep of working papers and posting of general journal entries

Weekly sales reporting and analysis

Inventory and COGS reporting and analysis

Assisting group budgeting and forecasting process

Prep and lodgement of BAS, quarterly GST

Manage audit process with external auditors

About you

Ideally, you’re a CA or CPA qualified accountant coming out of a Big 4 or top-tier chartered firm, ready to make your first move into industry. Or perhaps it’s your second move, and you’ve already proven yourself in a commercial role. You’re hungry to grow, you thrive under pressure and know how to communicate with a variety of different stakeholders.
