An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and professional PA / Medical Receptionist to provide immediate support to a high-profile Neurosurgeon. This is a contract position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, specialist medical environment and enjoys delivering exceptional patient care.

The Role: Working closely with the surgeon, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and patient management. Your duties will include:

• Diary management and coordination of appointments and procedures
• Managing all patient correspondence, files, and documentation
• Providing exceptional front desk reception and patient service
• Preparing surgical quotations and handling billing (Medicare, Health Funds)
• Liaising with hospitals, referrers, and other key stakeholders
• Assisting with general administrative tasks and ensuring efficient workflow

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or PA within a specialist practice (Neurosurgery experience highly regarded)
• Immediate availability for a full-time contract role
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Professional presentation and outstanding communication skills
• Experience with medical software systems (Blue Chip or similar)
