About the role

Jelizro Pty Ltd, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Full time Senior Medical Receptionist to join their team in Penrith, NSW. The Full-time role will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments, managing patient bookings, and maintaining accurate records - ability to type specialist letters using a dictaphone system (olympus); understanding medical terminology

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about the practice's services. This is a busy practice handling numerous phone calls; clinic day with up to 35 patients seen per day. Currently 2 medical practitioners provide services.

Assisting with the preparation of medical reports and documentation using medical software - Blue Chip

Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area

Providing support to the medical team as needed

What we're looking for

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role

Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers

Proficient in the use of medical practice management software and Microsoft Office suite

Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

A friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanour
