Our client is a well-established Specialist Dermatology Practice and Day Surgery, known for offering the latest technology and delivering high-quality care to both patients and staff.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionist / Patient Administrator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys patient interaction and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and assisting patients in a warm and professional manner
• Booking appointments and hospital procedures
• Managing patient data, correspondence, and records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Invoicing, receipting
• Explaining procedures to patients clearly and compassionately
• Coordinating financial eligibility checks and admissions
• Processing health fund billing
• Utilising Fido or Profile software (advantageous but not essential)

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role, ideally within a specialist practice or day surgery
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
• Sound knowledge of Medicare and Health Fund billing processes
