The Role

As a Payroll Software Support Officer, you will:
- Provide expert assistance to customers using OWNA HR/Payroll, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
- Troubleshoot payroll-related issues, including award interpretation, tax compliance, and reporting.
- Guide customers through software features, system setup, and best practices.
- Stay up to date with payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and training users on payroll functionalities.
- Work closely with the development team to identify system improvements and provide user feedback.
- Help shape the product going forward to develop the best in class product with your ideas & suggestions.
- Be that leader that we build a HR/Payroll team around as we scale.

About You

🔹 Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, tax rules, and award interpretation.
🔹 Experience using payroll software such as KeyPay, Employment Hero, Tanda, Ento, Microkeeper, Xero, Quickbooks, MYOB, or similar platforms.
🔹 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts in simple terms.
🔹 Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer queries efficiently.
🔹 Prior experience in a payroll officer, payroll administrator, or payroll support role is highly regarded.il
