An established and reputable Australian-owned business is seeking a Payroll/AP Officer to join their close-knit finance team due to an internal promotion.

With a strong presence in the Sydney market and decades of operational success, this business offers long-term stability and the opportunity to grow your payroll and accounts skill set. Their office is based in Rosebery (2018) and is easily accessible by car or public transport.

Your New Role

In this full-time, onsite position, you will support payroll and finance operations, gaining valuable exposure across multiple functions. This role is paying $80,000 - $85,000 + super, depending on level of experience.

What you will do

• Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing for around 200–300 employees (weekly and monthly)
• Supporting the implementation of a new payroll and time & attendance system
• Coding and processing invoices for accounts payable
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and basic finance reporting
• Month-end admin support and data entry
• General finance tasks and ad-hoc project assistance

About You

• Experience with full function payroll
• Experience with accounts/AP is beneficial - if you have a payroll background and keen to learn they have a solid on-boarding program
• Purchasing/procurement experience would be a bonus!
