Description

This standalone Payroll Officer role supports a fortnightly payroll of 75 employees, split between factory and white collar staff. You'll work closely with the Finance Controller to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing fortnightly payroll using Wagelock for time and attendance
• Interpreting awards and agreements for shift and factory workers
• Managing leave forms submitted via AussiePay
• Uploading and maintaining employee records in 360HR
• Onboarding and offboarding staff, uploading HR documentation
• Responding to payroll queries and supporting compliance
• Submitting payroll each fortnight by Monday deadline

Profile

A successful Permanent Part-time Payroll Officer should have:

• Experience in a standalone or end-to-end payroll position
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, shift work, and award interpretation
• Experience with Wagelock or similar T&A systems preferred
• Confident with HR/payroll platforms (e.g. 360HR, AussiePay)
• Highly organised and detail-oriented
