Contract copywriting position

Create written content for a broad scope of homes

Autonomous working environment

Rate of $150 + GST per appointment (plus travel)

The role

As a Sydney based real estate copywriter you will:

Visit a range of properties throughout the Sydney metro area*

Interview agents and vendors on site to understand the brief

Create written content that meets the brief for each property

Proofread your work to ensure brand/style guidelines are met

Complete training tasks as necessary; learn from feedback

Write your jobs throughout the day - on the road or from home

Manage multiple appointments; ensure daily deadlines are met

Respond to any change requests from copy manager or client

*This position will predominantly service the North Shore and Northern Beaches, although further travel could be required for appointments across metro Sydney, including the Hills, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and St George. Travel will be limited to one or two regions per day as much as possible.

Requirements

Previous experience in a writing role

Proven ability to meet deadlines

Reliable car and driver’s licence

ABN and relevant insurance

Laptop/tablet and internet connection

High standard of personal presentation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in real estate/property writing OR an interest in the industry and willingness to learn

Willing to undergo a police check as part of your application
