We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Site Manager to oversee a new childcare project in Clayton, with an immediate start available.

The Role

This is a site-based leadership position responsible for the end-to-end management of construction activities. You will ensure that the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and to URBN’s exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations and supervise all trades on site

Ensure adherence to the construction program and report progress

Liaise effectively with subcontractors, clients, consultants, and project managers

Coordinate site logistics, materials, deliveries, and inspections

Maintain quality control, site safety, and project documentation

Run site meetings and manage communication with stakeholders

Troubleshoot construction issues and proactively manage delays

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction

Demonstrated experience delivering childcare or education sector projects

Understanding of construction methodology, especially structural sequencing

Previous exposure to project management or contracts administration (advantageous)

High-level communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Tech-savvy with strong computer literacy and experience in site reporting tools

Requirements

White Card (Construction Induction)

Working with Children Check (current)

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Right to work in Australia
