About the role

As the BIM Modelling Coordinator (Electrical) at JBA Consulting Engineers', you will play a crucial role in coordinating the development and delivery of detailed BIM models. Coordinating with other services disciplines and working with the BIM Manager, as a coordinator you will lead the Electrical Disciplines' BIM execution for project delivery. This full-time position is based in our South Melbourne office.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating the creation and integration of BIM models for electrical systems and components

Liaising with project teams to ensure BIM models align with design requirements and compliance standards

Providing technical guidance and support to designers and modelers to maintain model accuracy and consistency

Identifying and resolving issues or conflicts within the BIM model and across the project

Implementing quality control processes to validate model outputs

Collaborating with stakeholders to optimise the BIM workflow and address any challenges

Supporting the development and maintenance of BIM standards, templates and libraries

Skills and Experience

Substantial experience in a BIM Modelling Coordinator or similar role, ideally within the engineering or construction industry

Proven expertise in electrical engineering design and the use of BIM software such as Revit

Strong technical knowledge of building services, electrical systems and design standards

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
