About the role

VES Electrical Solutions is seeking a Project Manager (Electrical) to join our team in Somerville, Victoria. This is a full-time role, where you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex electrical projects from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

Manage the planning, scheduling and coordination of electrical construction projects

Liaise with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards

Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the management team

Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues and delays

Ensure all work is compliant with relevant building codes, regulations and safety requirements

Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support as needed

Prepare detailed project reports and documentation

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in the electrical industry

or

A grade Electricians Licence

Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite

Knowledge of electrical design, installation and testing procedures

Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Project Management
