About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter to support a busy project team with accurate, timely and standards-compliant documentation. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and layout drawings for a variety of industrial projects including control panels, MCCs and switchboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and other drafting tools
• Prepare documentation including schematics, general arrangements, and termination diagrams
• Liaise with project engineers and electricians to ensure constructability and compliance
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation aligns with AS/NZS standards
• Assist in design reviews and contribute to project planning and delivery milestones

About You

• Proven experience as an Electrical Drafter in the construction or electrical contracting space
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical
• Understanding of Australian electrical standards and commercial/industrial project requirements
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: circa $120,000 + Superannuation
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
