SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER / TEAM LEADER | HIGH BASE (OTE $180k-$210k)

This role will see you leading, expanding and mentoring a team of BDMs, setting KPIs, and driving the company’s ambitious growth goals. The business is currently listing approximately 60 properties per month, aiming for 100+ within 24 months.
You'll have full ownership of the BDM department, focusing solely on growth without getting caught up in other areas. This will be a lead-by-example role initially, with BDM and Leadership experience in managing staff a non-negotiable.
THE SALARY:
$110,000 - $140,000 + superannuation + commissions
(OTE: $180,000 - $210,000+)
THE LOCATION:
City of Boroondara, Victoria
THE HOURS/DAYS:
Monday to Friday
After-hours availability may be required for urgent matters or team support.
THE ROLE:
- Lead and mentor a team of BDMs, driving performance and fostering growth.
- Design and implement KPIs and set clear, actionable targets for the team.
- Take full ownership of the BDM department, including structuring, strategy, and processes.
- Recruit, onboard and grow the BDM department.
- Be the go-to leader for all BDM-related issues.
- Source and onboard additional referral partners.
- Manage VA’s, refine processes, and ensure best practices are followed.
- Identify challenges and propose practical solutions with a resource-backed approach.
- Play a key role in scaling the business, with a goal of increasing listings from 60 to 100 properties per month.
THE APPLICANT:
- Proven experience in leading a Team.
- An Agents Representative Certificate or LEA.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for developing talent.
- A valid drivers licence and car.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability and the capability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- A strong reputation in the Real Estate industry and measurable track-record within Business Development.
- Solutions-focused mindset, with a track record of achieving growth targets.
