About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Business Development Manager to join our rental team in a full-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a vibrant and supportive group, playing a pivotal role in expanding the company’s rental portfolio. The role primarily involves securing property listings and handing them over to the property management team, allowing you to focus on growing the rent roll and actively pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the rental portfolio.
- Build and nurture relationships with landlords, property investors, and referral partners.
- Generate and follow up on leads from various channels, including online platforms, referrals, and networking events.
- Conduct rental appraisals and present compelling management proposals.
- Maintain and grow the agency database of potential clients and key contacts.
- Distribute and track marketing materials to prospective clients.
- Negotiate management agreements with new clients.
- Coordinate with leasing and property management teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new properties.
- Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for portfolio growth and improved competitive positioning.
- Stay informed of industry regulations to ensure compliance.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Participate in department meetings and training sessions as required.
