We are seeking a passionate and detail orientated Clinical Governance Officer to support our commitment of delivering high quality, person-centred care.
This is a permanent part time role, working 38 hours per fortnight.
What you'll be doing
As part of our Quality and Governance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our residential and home care services.
Reporting to the GM Quality and Governance, you will:
- Conduct clinical and operational audits and assessments
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance care quality and outcomes
- Collaborate with the Clinical Care team to identify risks and implement best practice improvements
- Educate and train staff on compliance standards and quality frameworks
- Prepare for and respond to regulatory inspections and external audits
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Allied Health and current AHPRA registration
- Experience in quality, compliance, or clinical governance within aged care
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Passion for improving the lives of older people and ensuring service excellence
- Current Police Clearance (less than 6 months) and current First Aid Qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- It is recommended that you will have 2 COVID Vaccinations and an up-to-date Flu vaccination
