Logistics Assistance Coordinator
Location: Kilsyth, VIC
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $65,000 – $68,000 + Super
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Assistance Coordinator to join a fast-paced, supportive team that plays a key role in ensuring the smooth processing and fulfilment of customer orders. You will act as the central point of contact for assigned accounts and manage the full logistics and order lifecycle—from receipt to delivery—providing consistent communication and operational support throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate assigned customer accounts across the full logistics and order lifecycle
- Liaise with internal teams, warehouses, and external partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Provide high-quality service to customers via phone and email, resolving issues and escalating where appropriate
- Maintain accurate data in systems such as Salesforce and Oracle to ensure order visibility and tracking
- Prepare and verify export and shipping documentation in line with compliance requirements
- Assist with coordinating warehouse logistics and supporting customer site visits
- Drive efficiencies by adopting automation tools such as Conexiom to streamline order processing
- Participate in team initiatives, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration
- Support tasks such as customer claims, rebate processing, and reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in logistics coordination, supply chain support, or a fast-paced customer service environment
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask
- Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- A solutions-focused mindset and willingness to escalate appropriately when required
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new systems and processes
- Prior experience with Salesforce (Service Cloud), Oracle, or tools like Conexiom is an advantage but not essential
- Industry experience in logistics, manufacturing, automotive, or distribution is highly regarded
Additional Information
- Alternating shifts weekly: start at 8:00 AM or 9:45 AM to support customer logistics hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- High email volume (approx. 2,000 shared cases/month), with moderate phone interaction (approx. 650–700/month)
- Pre-employment checks include reference checks and a medical
