SMAART Recruitment is looking for a Business Development & Relationship Manager to join the a First Nations-led consultancy and creative agency in South Eveleigh.

This isn't just about sales; it's about connecting with people, understanding what they need, and helping them succeed.

They help organisations build strong connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through RAPs, cultural training, advice, and creative solutions that mix culture, art, and media with modern approaches.

If you're super organised, love engaging with clients, and have a knack for crafting killer proposals, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be at the heart of client interactions, and responsible for:

  • Client Connections: You'll be the friendly face for new inquiries, making sure everyone feels heard and valued. You'll build and nurture strong, lasting relationships, always aiming to understand their goals and keep them happy.
  • Winning Proposals: You'll take the lead on all our tenders, proposals, and RFQs, making sure they're clear, accurate, and perfectly tailored. This means working with our internal experts and making sure every submission shines.
  • Strategic Insights: You'll research what our clients need and what's happening in the industry, helping us spot new opportunities and shape future growth.
  • Keeping Things Tidy: You'll keep our client records and project progress up-to-date in our CRM, making sure everything is tracked perfectly.
  • Teamwork & Growth: You'll work closely with other teams and keep learning new things to stay on top of industry trends and best practices.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven results in client management, sales support, or similar roles. Experience in professional advisory or consulting services is a big plus.
  • An exceptional writer, especially when it comes to business documents, tenders, and proposals. You also communicate clearly and effectively in person.
  • Someone who is great at research, can quickly grasp client needs, and have a keen eye for detail. No errors get past you!
  • Someone who can juggle multiple tasks, hit deadlines, and is always looking for ways to grow and improve things.
  • Who is comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRMs like Hubspot. Bonus points if you know your way around design tools like Canva or Adobe.
  • A great attitude, client-focused, proactive, a strong communicator, solution-oriented, and highly organised.
