Position Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Concord, NSW (Head Office)
Reports To: General Manager - Growth and Strategy

We are currently seeking a driven, strategic, and experienced Business Development Manager to join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a rapidly growing industry, backed by a company with an outstanding reputation and service record.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding our client base, identifying new revenue opportunities, and strengthening long-term business relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with both operational and executive teams to deliver value-driven security solutions to corporate clients across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development Strategy & Execution:

Assist in the development and execution of strategic business development plans aligned with company growth objectives.

Identify new market segments, key targets, and verticals for expansion.

Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to align service delivery with client needs.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

Drive new business acquisition across guarding, electronics, mobile patrols, and advanced security technologies (drones, AI surveillance).

Cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers within target companies.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand security needs and propose tailored solutions.

Sales Pipeline & CRM Management:

Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads through CRM tools and regular follow-ups.

Leverage our existing client portfolio and inbound leads to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Prepare accurate forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics for senior management.

Proposal, Tender & Contract Development:

Lead in the preparation of professional business proposals, quotes, and tender submissions.

Collaborate with operational, legal, and finance teams to ensure all documentation aligns with client expectations and company capabilities.

Deliver engaging, persuasive presentations that communicate the value and impact of Ultimate Security’s services.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

Conduct ongoing market and competitor research to identify trends, innovations, and potential risks.

Provide feedback to executive leadership regarding product development and service enhancements.

Networking & Industry Engagement:

Represent Ultimate Security at industry events, expos, and client functions.

Build strong relationships within the corporate security sector to promote brand visibility and client trust.

Attend occasional after-hours networking events and business functions.

Essential Criteria:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior B2B sales role, ideally within the security or facilities management industry.

Valid Security License (NSW)

Demonstrated success in building client relationships and closing deals with corporate clients.

Proven experience preparing and delivering complex tenders and sales proposals.

High level of business acumen with a strategic approach to solution selling.

Experience managing and navigating CRM platforms.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present at C-suite level.

A current and valid Australian driver licence.

Flexibility to attend client meetings, site visits, and events outside of normal working hours as required.

Self-motivated, results-focused, and capable of working independently and within a team.

Proficient in MS Office suite and professional presentation tools.
