The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join an agency in a hands-on role during a period of major transformation. You will work closely with key stakeholders to integrate different platforms with TechOne whilst driving process improvement and strengthening financial governance.

This role is being initially offered as a six-month labour hire contract with potential to extend depending on business requirements.

The Role

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Managing financial matters in the transition of the employment model
• Integrating TechOne with the new HRIS and payroll system
• Assisting in the customisation of systems and processes for employee terms and conditions
• Performing the transfer of financial and staff data from existing systems to new systems
• Preparing updated financial policies, and procedures
• Reviewing and developing improvements to internal financial controls

The Ideal Person

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-focused finance professional with hands-on experience in financial systems, process improvement, and system integration within a government setting.

You’ll be confident and experienced working through complex change initiatives, with strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities.

You may come from one of the following backgrounds:

• An APS6 or EL1 Systems Accountant with experience in transformational technology change, system integration, and process improvement
• A Systems Accountant from the commercial or consulting sector with hands-on experience working in similar roles with government clients and looking to move into the APS

Salary / Rate

• $60/hr - $80/hr + Super
• Good WFH flexibility
