Their Information Services Division (ISD) is a central enabler of digital capability, ensuring secure, modern and responsive ICT systems for the parliamentary environment.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the heart of government through an ICT procurement role. Offered as a 12-month contract with the potential for a further 12-month extension, this role provides security, variety, and visibility within a respected federal agency.

Based in the ACT (southside), this labour hire engagement includes free onsite parking and flexibility to work from home once established in the role. You’ll be working in a team that values collaboration, capability, and professionalism, supporting procurement outcomes that directly enable parliamentary business.

The Role

Working within the Information Services Division, you will support end-to-end procurement functions that underpin critical ICT operations. This includes:

• Managing ICT-related procurement processes, including labour hire, software renewals, and goods and services
• Applying sound judgment and best practice to procurement decisions that support the division’s day-to-day needs
• Providing high-level advice to stakeholders on procurement strategies, documentation, and compliance
• Identifying and mitigating procurement risks
• Using the Digital Transformation Agency portals for ICT sourcing and maintaining accurate records and shared mailbox responses

The Ideal Person

You’re a capable procurement professional with experience navigating the frameworks of government procurement. You bring a proactive mindset and enjoy working in environments where the work is meaningful, the standards are high, and your skills make a clear contribution.

Key skills and attributes include:

• Demonstrated experience in Commonwealth Government ICT / non-ICT procurement
• Solid knowledge of the PGPA Act, CPRs, and DTA procurement platforms
• Ability to lead and manage procurement activities from initiation to contract award
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to advise and support internal clients through the procurement process
• Strong attention to detail and sound record-keeping practices
• Desirable: Cert IV in Procurement and Contracting

Tobe eligible for this vacancy, you must be an Australian citizen, be willing to undergo a police check and have a Baseline security clearance.

Salary / Rate

• $65/hr - $75/hr + 12% Super
• 12-month Labour hire contract with a 12-month extension
