Position Purpose

The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and enhance market presence. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong track record in sales and marketing, who can manage teams, collaborate with other departments, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company’s goals.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and customer needs.

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives.

Lead and manage the sales team, including setting targets, coaching, and performance evaluation.

Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.

Foster relationships with key clients and partners, negotiating and closing high-value deals.

Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content creation, and traditional advertising.

Develop branding and positioning strategies to enhance the company’s market presence.

Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal results.

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team.

Facilitate collaboration between sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.

Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Implement strategies for customer retention and satisfaction.

Address and resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

Prepare and present regular reports on sales and marketing performance to senior management.

Analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions and recommendations.

Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing and sales strategies.

Required Qualities

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is considered ideal.

Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing successful marketing campaigns.

Experience in planning and budgeting.

Strong analytical ability.

Excellent communication skills.

Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

Problem-solving aptitude.
