This is a rare opportunity to manage a high-paced packing operation in one of the North Burnett Region's largest fruit processing hubs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient management of the packing shed, ensuring high-quality packing and timely dispatch of orders.
• Collaborate with markets and fruit distributors to meet packing requirements and enhance gross margins.
• Implement and manage quality control systems, ensuring all produce meets rigorous standards.
• Lead and develop the packing shed team, fostering a consultative and productive environment.
• Manage financial aspects of the operation, including budgeting, cash flow, and reporting to the board.
• Ensure workplace health and safety standards are always upheld.

What We Offer
Competitive Salary: $130,000 $160,000, commensurate with experience.

About You

• Proven experience managing large-scale fresh produce packing operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience in preventative maintenance programs.
• Comprehensive understanding of QA, HACCP, and WH&S.
• Excellent communication and logistical skills, with a customer-focused approach.
