The Opportunity
This dynamic role offers you the chance to be a pivotal part of our HR consulting stream. You'll work directly with clients from various sectors and at all employee levels, gaining invaluable experience across the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and termination. Beyond traditional HR, you'll also play a key role in our administrative operations and help amplify our brand through social media and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
HR Consulting
Work with the Managing Director in regards all aspects of HR.
Provide expert HR advice and support to multiple clients across diverse industries.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and termination processes.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to client needs.
Conduct HR audits and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with Australian employment law and best practices.
Administrative Support
Manage scheduling and appointments for client meetings and internal activities.
Assist with the setup and coordination of HR workshops and events.
Prepare and organise workshop materials, workbooks, and data collection.
Draft and distribute quarterly email communications to clients on key HR topics.
Social Media & Business Development
Create engaging social media content related to HR trends, company news, and insights.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance our online presence and employer brand.
Actively participate in networking and business development activities to help grow the HR consulting side of our business.
Identify new business opportunities and nurture client relationships.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Some prior experience in a generalist HR role. You're comfortable with the core facets of HR and eager to learn more.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Australian employment landscape, including relevant legislation and best practices.
Client-Focused: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
Organised & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with office software and various CRM platforms and comfortable using social media platforms for professional purposes.
Proactive & Creative: A self-starter who can take initiative, think creatively, and contribute fresh ideas for social media and business growth.
Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing varying client demands.
Positive Mindset: being able to always walk the walk and talk the talk in a positive manner.
