Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Supervisor to lead operations at our pub and restaurant establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, upscale fine dining and excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role will report to the Venue Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Maintain high-quality food, beverage, and service standards.

Staff Management

Train, and supervise front-of-house staff (servers, hosts, bartenders, etc.).

Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure optimal coverage.

Foster a professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching.

Customer Service

Ensure an exceptional and personalised customer experience.

Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Maintain a visible presence during service hours to engage with customers.

Financial Management

Manage budgets, monitor sales, and control costs (labor, inventory, etc.).

Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies and beverages.

Marketing & Promotion

Collaborate on marketing initiatives, events, and promotions to drive revenue.

Maintain and promote the venue's image and reputation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in restaurant / venue management, in a fine dining setting.

Proven track record of managing high-end service standards.

Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in POS systems and restaurant management software.
