The Company
Finance Analysts required for this privately owned business based in North Sydney. Reporting to the CFO this role is a newly created position and will play a integral part in establishing budgeting protocols moving forward.

The Role
Reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for the financial reporting and budgeting processes. You will deliver high-quality management information and detailed analysis to support strategic decisions and improve efficiencies of performance.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• The presentation, production and review of consolidated monthly management reporting to the Board, coordinating across multiple countries and business units globally
• Consolidating the financial information collated into a
• Implementing KPI analysis, process review and cost scrutiny in order to drive operational improvements
• Leading the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process with a view to developing a more efficient and accurate process
• Building a tool set of analytical resources to support a variety of strategic requirements such as business case support for the introduction of new service lines, acquisitions etc.
• Working hand in hand with operations to understand their analytical requirements and identify where finance is able to add value
• Working closely with the Group's consolidation and statutory reporting teams as well as the ERP support team to ensure consistency of financial information

You will have

• Professional designation (i.e. CPA, CA, CIMA, etc). People from a Big 4 background will be viewed favourably
• Strong experience in management reporting, planning, business finance and decision support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate cross-culturally
• High levels of organisational and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• A strong team player with demonstrable abilities to problem solve and step in to assist other team members when required
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Planning, Essbase or similar/related systems.
• Previous experience in a corporate accounting role or similar.
