Experienced Financial Analyst wanted for NSW Govt finance team. 6 month Contract. Parramatta location

Your new company

A large NSW Government Service requires an experienced Financial Analyst to join their Financial Accounting team for a 6 month temporary contract with potential to extend subject to project workloads.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key duties will include:

• General Ledger Analysis and reconciliations
• Balance Sheet Analysis and reconciliations
• Month End Reporting
• Assist with Year End preparation
• Fixed Asset Register maintenance
• Statutory Financial statement preparation
• Ad hoc financial reporting and tax support
• Using SAP and reporting tools

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in Government or large complex commercial organisation
• CPA or CA qualified or equivalent
• Strong financial accounting analytical skills
• ERP systems experience, ideally SAP
• Advanced Excel
• Solid experience in Fixed Asset Accounting
