An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Analyst to contribute to the strategic operations of a major institution within the tertiary education sector. This 12-month engagement requires a data-savvy professional with exceptional modelling capability, a sharp analytical mind, and experience driving insights in complex environments.

Role Highlights:

• Engage with diverse stakeholders to analyse and define business and financial requirements
• Develop and maintain models, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
• Translate data into actionable insights using Power BI and Excel
• Ensure continuous communication across internal teams to deliver aligned project outcomes
• Contribute to the development of budgets and ensure alignment with financial plans
• Participate in risk management and compliance activities

Your Background:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within commercial, not-for-profit, or higher education sectors
• Proven expertise in financial modelling and scenario planning
• Advanced Power BI and Excel skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
• Exposure to change management and agile methodologies is advantageous
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, business, or a related field (postgraduate preferred)

Contract Details:

• Location: Sydney
• Duration: 12 months
• Rate: $86.29 per hour plus super
• Hours: 35 hours per week
• Immediate start
