The opportunity

Clean TeQ Water are seeking a talented Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Mount Waverley, Victoria. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our innovative water and wastewater treatment solutions to customers across a range of industries.

Key responsibilities

Develop customised water treatment solutions based on client wastewater data

Perform process engineering and water chemistry calculations

Engage with suppliers and contractors to obtain quotations for equipment and services

Prepare sales proposals, cost sheets, and presentations

Conduct on-site piloting of Clean TeQ technologies

Provide technical support to business development, sales, and marketing teams

Support engineering improvement and R&D projects to validate solutions, commercialise new technologies, and optimise existing processes

Collaborate with team members and management to ensure project deliverables are met on schedule

Maintain professional certification with the relevant engineering body and complete necessary training

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering

Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the water, wastewater or environmental industry

excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying and closing sales opportunities

Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

Fluent in written and spoken English

Must have full Australian working rights
