About the role:

Due to high demand and an increased influx, the business is seeking an immediate opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join their team on a temporary basis!

This position involves preparing cost estimates through the analysis of proposals and requirements. It entails effectively communicating information regarding the products, services, and pricing.

Ideally seeking for a candidate with exposure in the electrical industry or experience supporting sales teams.

Skills & Experience:

• Preparing sales estimates based on project details and opportunities received from customers.
• Responsible for understanding project requirements and products so relative estimates can be drafted for customers.
• Liaising with internal departments including sales, technical services, and operations.
• Investigating and resolving issues promptly regarding quotations (product and price).
• Actively logging all customer interactions with the company’s CRM platform.
• Support the sales team in any area of customer service when required.
• Working closely with Business Development Managers in providing detailed project quote submissions.
• Additional duties as required from time to time as per business requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in or alongside estimating and quoting within the electrical industry or with a lighting Supplier/Wholesale space (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Initiative and the ability to problem solve.
• The ability to work both autonomously and within a tight-knit team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office-based programs.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Be proactive and show Initiative.
