North West - Healthy Women is an established Women's Health clinic, launched in August 2024. As part of the renowned North West Physiotherapy group, our clinic provides expert, tailored care for women's health issues in a modern, welcoming environment. Equipped with a state-of-the-art gym, Pilates equipment, and a well-furnished exercise area, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to women of all ages and stages. We have strong ties with local GP clinics, obstetricians, gynecologists, and other women's health specialists, providing a seamless healthcare experience for our clients.

Position Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Exercise Physiologist with a minimum of 6 months’ clinical experience. Candidates with previous experience and/or further qualifications in Women’s Health will be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting women's health and a desire to contribute alongside our Physiotherapists to our mission of providing top-tier healthcare to women in our community. This role will commence at 15 hours per week, with the potential for hours to increase as demand grows.

Responsibilities:

Provide individualised exercise interventions for women with a variety of health concerns, including prenatal and postnatal conditions, pelvic floor dysfunction, menopause-related issues, and more.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, GPs, obstetricians, gynecologists, and other allied health professionals to provide integrated care.

Conduct thorough assessments and create tailored exercise programs for clients in both one-on-one and group settings, including Pilates classes.

Maintain accurate clinical notes and ensure all treatments are compliant with ESSA guidelines.

Participate in weekly in-clinic in-services and training to further develop your expertise.

Contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the Exercise Physiology program by actively promoting and marketing the clinic and service.

Qualifications and Skills:

Full registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).

Minimum of 6 months’ experience working as an Exercise Physiologist.

Strong interest in Women's Health, with previous experience/qualification in this field highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Eligibility to work in Australia.
