North West - Healthy Women is an established Women's Health clinic, launched in August 2024. As part of the renowned North West Physiotherapy group, our clinic provides expert, tailored care for women's health issues in a modern, welcoming environment. Equipped with a state-of-the-art gym, Pilates equipment, and a well-furnished exercise area, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to women of all ages and stages. We have strong ties with local GP clinics, obstetricians, gynaecologists, and other women's health specialists, providing a seamless healthcare experience for our clients.
Position Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-time Physiotherapist with a keen interest in Women's Health. Candidates with previous experience and/or further qualifications in Women’s Health and Pilates will be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting women's health and a desire to contribute alongside our Senior Physios and Exercise Physiologist to our mission of empowering all women to lead healthy, happy lives.
Full time applicants are preferred; but part-time arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care to women across the lifespan, including antenatal and postnatal care.
Assess and treat pelvic floor dysfunctions (e.g. incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain).
Develop and manage personalised rehabilitation programs for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and menopausal health.
Conduct internal pelvic floor assessments (as qualified and appropriate).
Collaborate with other physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, GPs, and other allied health professionals to support patient outcomes.
Run or assist with women’s health-focused classes (e.g. Reformer Pilates, postnatal exercise).
Qualifications and Skills:
Full registration without restriction with AHPRA
Minimum of 12 months works as a Physiotherapist
Strong interest in Women's Health, with previous experience/qualification in this field highly desirable (APA Women's Health Level 1-2).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Eligibility to work in Australia.
