Reporting to the Senior HR Manager and working closely with the Divisional General Manager, this is a visible and hands-on role. You'll manage the full generalist remit from employee relations and coaching to workforce planning and organisational change.
Responsibilities:
- Be the key HR contact for South Australia, building strong relationships with leaders and teams
- Support managers across employee relations, performance, workforce planning and change initiatives
- Coordinate onboarding, induction and HR compliance processes in collaboration with leaders
- Contribute to national HR projects and support business-wide people initiatives
- Coach leaders to strengthen people capability and apply consistent, effective HR practices
- Provide advice on policies, injury management and annual review processes
- Share insights from the SA network to inform broader HR planning and strategy
- Promote a collaborative, inclusive and safety-conscious culture across the region
Candidate Profile
You're a capable HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a relationship-driven role, and brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset. You're confident providing advice, calm under pressure, and able to build credibility across a range of stakeholders.
You'll bring:
- Generalist HR experience, including employee relations and performance support
- The confidence to operate with autonomy while remaining closely connected to your team
- A practical and professional approach, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Flexibility to travel regionally as needed (Approximately 1 day per month plus ad-hoc requirements).
