Lead. Advise. Influence. Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to step into a fast-paced, collaborative public sector team based in the Adelaide CBD. This 6-week opportunity will see you deliver critical HR support during a transition period, covering a strategic portfolio and contributing to high-value people outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice across performance, conduct, grievance, and change matters
• Partner with senior managers to deliver strategic workforce planning and operational HR support
• Lead or support internal case management, investigations, restructures and project work
• Translate workforce data and trends into actionable advice and planning
• Build trusted relationships across leadership teams and specialist program areas

Your profile

• Demonstrated experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor role
• Strong knowledge of public sector frameworks, industrial instruments, and HR legislation
• Skilled in managing sensitive, complex employee relations matters
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and support senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working in high-change, high-volume environments
• Relevant clearances (NPC, COVID/Category B vaccination) or ability to obtain
