Are you an experienced inventory professional with a strong eye for detail and a passion for driving operational excellence? We are looking for an Inventory Officer to lead our stock control operations across multiple warehouse locations.

Fastrac Foodservice is a family owned and operated, service orientated food wholesaler to the hospitality industry. We operate out of purpose built facilities in Somerville (3912) and Preston (3072) Victoria. We pride ourselves on our industry leading customer service. This role will be based primarily at our Somerville site.

As Inventory Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient management of inventory on a FIFO basis across all sites. You will investigate, report and provide corrective action recommendations on stock variations and damages.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate with warehouse teams to complete daily and weekly inventory tasks.

· Manage stock-related reports: back-orders, variances, bin locations, deletions.

· Schedule and oversee regular cycle counts and stocktakes.

· Monitor and correct barcode setup and product data in WMS.

· Report and address inventory-related issues.

· Track inventory errors and support training needs in collaboration with Warehouse Supervisors.

· Provide assistance during peak times or staff shortage.

Training & Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse, procurement or inventory-focused role

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems and RF scanning technology

Valid Forklift Licence (preferred but not required)

Strong computer literacy (Excel and inventory systems)

Environment & Flexibility

Work across cold storage, warehouse floors, on the road, and in office environments

Travel required across multiple warehouse locations
