Breakthrough Group is looking for a fulltime Mobile Plant Operator to join our Asbestos Team.

The Mobile Plant Operator will be responsible for the operation of machinery for demolition and contracts works which are contracted and/or costed but not limited to the asbestos branch of the Breakthrough Group.

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of plant and equipment of which the operator is experienced with.

The position will be based on 38hr/week under the occupation of Mobile Plant Operator (Asbestos Team). We are offering a yearly salary of $70,000 per annum plus 11% Superannuation to the successful applicant.

The successful applicant must be able to meet the criteria set out below:

• Driving and Maneuvering Civil machinery and/or plant & equipment on site

• Monitoring operation of plant directly and by referring to instruments

• Monitoring condition of plant by pre-starts, performing minor repairs and reporting mechanical faults

• Hand tools and various workshop equipment

• Maintain safe and clean work areas and machinery

• Assist in the set out of work sites

• Identify and report required repairs or improvements plant and \ or hand tools

WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology OR Cert III in Civil Construction Plant Operations

• 1 Year of work experience within a similar role.

MUST HAVE:

• White card

• Drivers licence

• Excavator Ticket & any other operator tickets

• Asbestos Removal Certificate Friable and Non-friable
