About the role:
If you are looking for truly meaningful work in a growing business and want to be part of a great team … this role is your opportunity!
The Place For Belonging is continuing to grow, supporting more NDIS participants who are living with a disability to enhance and enrich their lives. Our clients and our team are important to us, so they will also be important to you! Customer Service, be it internal or external, is of the utmost important to us, and it’s a key measure of our success.
To help us continue to provide extraordinary supports, we are on the hunt for an energetic, sharp and adaptable Operations / Administration Assistant to help drive the heartbeat of our daily operations. In this role, you will be supporting the Leadership team who simply do not have the bandwidth to handle the range of operational admin tasks that can come through on a day-to-day basis and are now searching for their ‘go-to Ops guru’.
What we’re looking for:
We have an amazing team, who work hard, who go the extra mile to deliver exceptional service, and who are rewarded and appreciated for their efforts. We are looking for an experienced operational/administrative assistant who breathes our values and who can:
Juggle and support multiple stakeholders and manage competing demands
Take the lead on administrative and clerical duties including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, calendars and meetings, and maintain participant files, records, reports and documentation.
Bring a big heart, good vibes, and a healthy love for collaborative teamwork in a "drama free" zone.
Be an ‘all rounder’ willing to get in and get the job done to essentially ensure the smooth operations of the team.
What you'll need to bring
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and organised and will need to:
Have proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with a friendly, can-do attitude.
Be proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) skills
Have strong organisational and time management skills
Have an ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Be detail-oriented focused with a high level of accuracy.
Have a high level of personal motivation and ability to work unsupervised.
Be resilient, nimble and adaptable: we work with neurodivergent participants so priorities can change quickly
Possess a driver’s license
Possess a paid Yellow (NDIS Disability Worker Screening) and Bue (Working with Children) Card or be prepared to apply for them.
Believe it's Possible
Believe in our participant’s hopes and dreams and stay focused on their journey
