Accounts Payable Officer – 6-Month Contract (Flexible Hours)
Location: Scottsdale, TAS (with offices also in Hobart, Launceston, and Devonport)

Bison Constructions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role offers flexible working hours, including the option to work within school hours, making it ideal for someone who values work-life balance while delivering consistent, accurate financial support.

As a key member of our admin team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, reconciling transactions, and ensuring timely data entry using MYOB. We’re after someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and thrives on keeping things organised behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry

Accurately input supplier invoices into the financial system

Ensure all entries are correctly coded and approved

2. Credit Card Reconciliation

Reconcile company credit card statements

Confirm all transactions are supported and discrepancies resolved

3. Record Keeping

Maintain organised, up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions

Securely store all documentation in a way that ensures audit readiness
