About the Role

Kenon Mushroom company is looking for an experienced mushroom spawn inoculation technician working in Kenon Bundaberg factory. Due to the expansion and development needs of our commercial scale, we are looking for capable individuals to join this emerging agri-tech industry. With the need to double our current production capacity and produce various types of mushroom spawn to supply downstream mushroom growers, the candidate must possess strong communication skills, team collaboration abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
Duties
The position requires the following skill:
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to achieve daily KPIs and complete daily mushroom spawn production plans.
• Able to independently complete the extraction and cultivation of oyster mushroom original species, and the production of secondary strains.
• Able to independently complete the preparation, inoculation and industrial inoculation of oyster mushroom liquid culture medium.
• Able to collaborate with production manager to continuously optimize work processes, reduce infection risks, and improve work efficiency, ensuring production quality and standards.
• Assist the Production Manager in inoculating spawn bags.

Required Experience:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (background in Biotechnology preferred).
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Basic experience in culture cultivation.
• Ability to quickly learn and master new knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and abilities.
