Job Description:

We are seeking a Qualified and Experienced Outboard Motor & Boat Marine Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with outboard motors, and general boat & trailer maintenance.

You will be responsible for servicing Yamaha Outboards to diagnosis of issues, performing repairs, installation of new outboards, electronics and accessories through to minor trailer repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair outboard motors and other marine engines.

Conduct routine maintenance on boats and related equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Assist in the installation of new outboard motors, electronics, equipment and accessories.

Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs.

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology

Experience and detailed knowledge of Yamaha Outboard motors including diagnostics and Helm Master installations/operations is highly desirable and will be looked upon very favourably

Proven experience as a marine mechanic.

Strong knowledge of outboard motor systems, boat maintenance, and repair techniques.

Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Currently live in Australia and are a resident

Hold a current manual driver's license

Hold a current recreational boat license

Forklift operators licence desirable
