About Time For Justice is a leading consultancy that advocates for survivors of institutional child abuse and other vulnerable individuals. Many of our clients are unable to work due to illness or injury arising from their life circumstances. We are seeking a compassionate and emotionally intelligent professional with experience handling sensitive client matters, to support survivors in navigating insurance claims and securing the financial outcomes they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Contact & Triage
Speak directly with potential clients to understand their circumstances and assess potential claim viability, according to our internal policies
Clearly explain claim pathways, consent, and next steps
Maintain a trauma-informed, supportive approach to client service
File Review & Preparation
Review incoming TPD and income protection matters
Identify required documents and information for claims preparation
Prepare high-quality file notes and internal summaries for legal/claims teams
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with clients, insurers, super funds, and other stakeholders
Request and follow up on necessary documents and information
Maintain accurate tracking of outstanding items
Team Contribution
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Share insights and trends with the broader team
Contribute to the ongoing development of a supportive and professional client service culture
Ensure all records are up-to-date and compliant with relevant policy
Key Skills & Attributes:
Compassionate, trauma-informed communication style
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
Excellent organisational and time management ability
Ability to manage multiple files at varying stages of progression
High attention to detail
Have a solid understanding of the Google Workplace and CRM systems
Commitment to client confidentiality and ethical conduct
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience in TPD/Income Protection claims, personal injury, superannuation, or insurance sectors
Knowledge of insurance/superannuation frameworks and basic understanding of claims processes
Prior trauma-informed care experience
