As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Associate Financial Adviser to join our dynamic team in Applecross.
The Opportunity:
As an Associate Financial Advisor, you'll dive in from day one, gaining hands-on experience by supporting senior advisers. You'll prepare critical advice, participate in client meetings, and master the art of guiding individuals toward their financial aspirations. This role is a blend of financial modelling and direct client engagement, all within a people-first culture designed for your growth. Best of all, you'll have a clear pathway to becoming a Qualified Financial Adviser, with dedicated coaching and support from our principal advisers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage initial client contact and attend client meetings with Principal Advisers.
Generate precise file notes and action items post-client meetings.
Assist in strategy development and liaising with external paraplanners to prepare quality financial advice documents.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for research, modelling, and calculations supporting advice preparation.
Ensure optimal client outcomes through close collaboration with Principal Advisers and Client Services team.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
RG146 qualification (or working toward it).
A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrable experience within the Financial Services industry.
Completion of the Professional Year (PY) program will be highly regarded but is not essential.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and desire to grow professionally.
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
