The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced NDIS Compliance and Quality Officer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards for our services.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of NDIS compliance and quality assurance processes, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.
Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance frameworks and risk management strategies to uphold best practices and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular audits, quality reviews, and internal assessments to guarantee adherence to NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation.
Prepare detailed audit and quality reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
Lead initiatives to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
Provide training and support to staff to promote a culture of compliance, quality, and continuous improvement.
Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and quality assurance.
Support the Authorised Program Officer (APO) in monitoring, implementing, and maintaining organisational compliance with restrictive interventions.
About You
Minimum 3 years’ experience in NDIS compliance, quality assurance, or auditing roles.
In-depth knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, quality management systems, relevant legislation, and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks and conducting quality reviews.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Disability, Compliance, Quality Assurance, Auditing, or related fields are highly regarded.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in reviewing and use of restrictive practice under the NDIS guideline.
