24 Hour Priority Care Australia (24HPCA) are looking for an experienced, qualified, and professional Recruitment & Compliance Officer to work at head Office in Dandenong, Victoria.

About the Role:

The Recruitment Officers, are part of the Recruitment team, and are responsible for undertaking end-to-end Residential and Disability Support Worker recruitment across the organisation, supporting all 24 Hour Priority Care Australia (24 HPCA) and Allied Priority Care Australia (APCA) teams to on-board qualified and skilled candidates. The role will provide timely advice and support the end to end recruitment process through evaluating, screening, recommending suitable candidates.

These positions provide support to recruiting teams by coordinating hiring activities, scheduling interviews and group assessments, screening resumes, and maintaining candidate databases. They assist with onboarding and handle administrative tasks to ensure a smooth hiring process.

In addition the Recruitment and Compliance Officers support the administration and reporting on current worker compliance.

We have an opening for two casual Recruitment & Compliance Officers to join the team, with an immediate start and the potential for a future permanent role.

Key duties can include:

Review applications and progress through recruitment process as appropriate.

Be a central point of contact for potential employees and student placements.

Provide assistance with shortlisting of candidates and preparing for and arranging interviews and group assessments as required, conducting references by phone and using applications such as ‘Referoo’, and completing the 24HPCA onboarding process.

Provide verbal offers of employment, advice of salary and commencement dates.

Prepare letters of offer, employment contracts and new employee packs for successful candidates manually and using the Docusign application as per procedures.

Liaise with General Manager and Training staff to obtain recommendations for progression following group assessments.

Liaise with unsuccessful candidates to provide feedback where required.

Collate all recruitment documents, create new employee personnel files (electronic and hard copy) and input new employee details into the Deputy and Compliance records.

Liaise with 24HPCA Payroll, Wellbeing and Supervision and Allocations officers to make on-boarding arrangements.

Communicate to management, payroll and allocations when all new starters are commencing and ready for shifts.

Ensure employees are recruited, on-boarded, inducted, and are compliant and oriented appropriately.

Recruitment Officers are required to work without bias, favouritism or prejudice in accordance with the National Employment Standards, Fair Work regulations, Equal Employment Opportunity legislation, the Privacy Act and the 24 HPCA Diversity and Inclusion policy.

Provide administration of employee compliance data and generate weekly reports for management action

Contact workers to follow up on compliance requirements, including impending compliance expiry, via phone, SMS and email.

About You:

Our ideal casual Recruitment & Compliance Officer will showcase strong interpersonal skills and be able to quickly develop rapport with our applicants and workers. You will be experienced in all aspects of the recruitment cycle and be able to think on your feet and work autonomously as required. Working in a highly regulated Community Services industry you will be familiar with compliance requirements.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or higher qualifications in Business, Human Resources or Community Services highly desirable.

Or less formal qualifications with specialized skills to perform at this level.

Current Criminal Record Check (International Check may be required)

Current Working with Children Check (Employee)

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Full Rights to work in Australia or equivalent

Competencies

Ability to maintain positive stakeholder engagement and relationships that foster credibility, trust and cooperation.

1-2 years' experience related to people processing.

Previous experience in recruitment and onboarding process and procedures.

Sound Deputy, Google, Microsoft Office Suite and Excel Skills, including reporting functions, or capacity to learn.

High level communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative.

High attention to detail & the ability to multi-task.
