Blackheath Area Neighbourhood Centre (BANC) is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation serving the Upper Blue Mountains. We provide a range of services including out of school hours care, NDIS services, and community engagement through our Neighbourhood Centre. Key Responsibilities:
As a Plan Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Financial Management: Oversee and manage NDIS plan budgets, ensuring timely and accurate NDIS related financial tasks.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all financial processes comply with NDIS guidelines and regulatory standards. Provide detailed financial reports and updates to clients.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and accurate communication regarding funding and payments.
Documentation & Attention to Detail: Maintain precise financial records and documentation, ensuring accuracy in all reporting and invoicing activities.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant Plan Management experience
Understanding of NDIS compliance requirements
NDIS related or financial work experience
NDIS WSC
WWCC
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with NDIS participants, their nominees, and other stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and use financial systems and processes
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clear, respectful, and inclusive language.
Competency in using Microsoft Office, Planability, PRODA or other NDIS compliance software.
