Are you a quality-focused professional with a passion for landscaping and garden maintenance? Durban Landscaping & Garden Maintenance is hiring a Quality Assurance & Workflow Officer to join our growing team. This is your opportunity to play a hands-on role in ensuring service excellence across some of Melbourne’s most prominent green spaces.

About the Role

As our Quality Assurance & Workflow Officer, you’ll be the vital link between field operations and senior management—ensuring that every garden and landscape we maintain reflects our high standards.

You’ll be responsible for conducting site inspections, driving quality control, supporting operational workflow, and helping coordinate subcontractors. This role combines strategic oversight with practical, on-the-ground support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly site inspections

Audit maintenance works for quality and compliance

Drive corrective actions and improvements

Ensure safety and environmental compliance

Provide operational support when required (mowing, pruning, weed control, etc.)

Coordinate subcontractors for specialist services (irrigation and tree works)

Maintain site documentation, audit records, and reporting

Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

Ability to balance inspections with hands-on support

Capable of working independently across multiple sites

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Comfortable with digital inspection tools (e.g., SafetyCulture or similar) (training will be provided)

Qualifications & Requirements

Driver’s License (required)

Working with Children Check (required)

National Police Clearance (required)

COVID Vaccination Certificate (required)

Certificate or Diploma in Horticulture, Environmental Management, or QA (desirable)
